Family – how can it be equaled? And yet, with busy schedules, the fun-filled family times can slip between our fingers. How about adding a few of natures’ favorite elements to bring back the memory-makers that active calendars have stolen? That’s what these happy Lake Oswego homeowners did!
They added an entertainment patio off their main deck. Walking a few slate steps out into their lush lawn you come to the new hardscaped fire and water island! An island like no other – with its amazing features! The first fabulous feature a firepit! For an all-day, all-season activity . . . fire watching. Fire watching includes warming up if chilly, toasting a marshmallow/hot dog, nestling in for an evening of star-gazing, or surrounded by friends to swap stories as dusk sets in! On this patio island a seat wall was added to the entire side for extra seating or to set stuff on! Perfect, eh?
Now, on to bigger things! This amazing in-ground spa is uber sized! A natural stone hot-tub spa with seat walls! A spa built for all ages, shapes and sizes, this relaxing spa can be a treat year-round. After a dip or a soak, you can mosey over to the firepit and sit a spell. What a great combination in close proximity to one another.
Best yet, surrounded by shrubs and plantings, this setting feels like a private retreat into nature. Especially satisfying is the musical dance of the waterfall flowing into the pond and spa, balancing this havens’ reverie.
It is clear to see this family made a wise addition to their lovely landscape. These fire and water fun-filled times together will live long in each of their family memories.
