Dog Friendly Backyard Design
Step outside and step into landscape paradise. This happy family has created their dream landscape. Filled with charm and every amenity, it is hard to choose a favorite “hangout” spot. Guess it depends on your mood.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN & PIZZA OVEN – OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM
If you are hungry or feeding a crowd, step into the kitchen gazebo and begin preparations. Perhaps a pizza in the wood-fire pizza oven, or throw some steaks and veggies on the grill. With top-of-the-line appliances you’ll have everything at your fingertips in this deluxe outdoor kitchen. It’s nice to cook and watch the game or snack on pizza while awaiting the main course. A few of your guests can join you at the bar or in front of the fireplace as they watch the game and visit. The grand fireplace entertainment wall can be seen from many angles in the landscape including the large dining patio. Having the kids play structure close to the kitchen is also a plus for parents.
MANY DESTINATION SPOTS IN LANDSCAPE
You might like a private retreat from the group and choose the relaxing comfort of the outdoor living area. This deck has a perfect view of all activities, the sweet fragrances of the garden and raised beds adding extra ambiance. The lower deck provides a kids’ social area. However, kids and teens do like to gather around the firepit. In close proximity to all the action, this firepit has custom wood seat walls for many guests to enjoy the firelight. It is especially nice to have the sunken spa so close it. Adults like to soak for a while, however, kids might have the tendency to hop in and out, hanging at the fire or goofing off in the in-ground hot tub. This setting is especially peaceful with the waterfall feature flowing into the spa and the lights and plantings casting beautiful silhouettes as evening falls and the stars come out.
Other landscape features are the dog run for an easier dog life. Also, another of our favorites, a living plant wall can be seen from the inner office.
This amazing landscape in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood of Portland, Oregon has an abundance of life to be lived inside its gates.
