Outdoor Kitchen Comes to Life
When these happy homeowners took the plunge to create an outdoor kitchen and living room, it was in their second home’s landscape. It was perfect for it. Now, the ideas they’d had for many years would become a reality. Working with Paradise Restored, their ideas turned into a design plan and before long they extended their indoor living space – out the back door!
Putting their heads together with the designer, a lean-to structure attached to their flat sided residence became exactly what this lack-luster landscape needed. By adding a full column of stonework, a grill, hood, sink and marble counter-tops . . . voila, an incredible outdoor kitchen and entertaining bar was created!
With both fire and water elements part of their goal, a firepit with seatwalls in the corner of the landscape and a spa with privacy screen became centers of interest and activity in the design. Adding a pergola awning over the spa lent character while allowing for star gazing.
Add a lounge patio, cozy living and dining space, and The Outdoor Living Room Comes To Life!
